Project 2408: Cookspoon Hill School Project

Build Liberia Education Foundation is a school located in the Cook Spoon Hill community of Monrovia, Liberia.  The school employs 16 teaching staff and provides education to over 300 students and counting. This school is privately funded with no government assistance.  Expansion of the school has already begun but is a slow process.  They work on the school as they obtain the funds which can span over several years.

Due to funding issues, many students are unable to attend school. The burden of school tuition is placed on the child's family.  Many of these families cannot afford to send their children to school.  Many children quit school and get jobs to obtain extra income for their families. If the burden of tuition were lifted from the family, many of these students would be able to attend school.

Heart to Serve Missions seeks to provide the necessary funds to pay for student tuitions, purchase school supplies, and increase teaching salaries to a livable wage.  In addition, Heart to Serve Missions desires to provide the funding needed to complete the construction of the school's expansion.
